Theater at the Garden presents the play “Waiting for the Magic Balloon”

The Flamboyant Garden Festival 2025 continues with a diverse cultural program throughout the month of July. On July 15th, at 7:30 pm, the highlight is the show “Waiting for the Magic Balloon,” part of the Theater in the Garden series.

With a playful and emotional approach, the show is created by Cia Flor do Cerrado, recognized for its work aimed at children and young adults. In the story, five pre-teen children share friendship, games, and discoveries until one of them, creative and resourceful, transforms a simple radio into a magical machine. The group then embarks on a journey to the enchanted World of the Balloon, a loving metaphor that awakens childhood memories and celebrates emotional, family, and human bonds.

Aimed especially at children aged 4 to 12, but with language accessible to all ages, the show seeks to encourage respect for others, the appreciation of friendship, and the interest of new generations in theater. The play is inclusive, sensitive, and educational, ideal for family enjoyment.

The performance is part of the Teatro no Garden program, set in an outdoor setting with a structure designed for audience comfort. Tickets cost R$20 (full price) and R$10 (half price or donation of 1kg of non-perishable food). Children under five years old are free.
