During a press session yesterday at the WEST African Examination Council (WAEC) office, the out going HNO, Uwadiae, said a total of 1,695,878 candidates registered for the examination.
- 1,545,004 (91.10 %) waec 2012 results were released.
- 150,874 (8.90 per %) still being processed due to error caused by candidates or choice of school.
Statistics
- 46.14 % had six credits and above
- 56.93 % had five credits and above
- 38.81 per % obtained credits in five subjects and above including English Language and Mathematics
- 114 blind candidates registered
