Robbers raid Nation’s Newspaper PH, cart N500,000
Gunmen on Monday stormed The Nation’s Newspapers in Diobu, Port Harcourt as they cart away with over N500,000.
Nation’s Newspaper Robbed
Bureau Chief Mr. Bisi Olaniyi, who confirmed the incident, said the robbers were 2 in range, adding that they were armed with pistols.
He said they went straight to the workplace of the paper’s Sales Representative, who was busy collecting sales from newspaper distributors.
He said the robbers, who came at 11am, collected all the money with the Sales Representative and the newspaper distributors, who were on queue in an operation that lasted over an hour.
Some of the newspaper distributors, who commented on the incident, expressed gratitude to God that they weren’t shot.
