Real Madrid Vs Manchester City- Ronaldo’s Late Goal Breaks Man City

| September 19, 2012

Real Madrid Vs Manchester City-

Real Madrid came twice from behind in a game they could have lost but they however manage to beat Manchester City 3-2  in a tight encounter. The home team dominated the first half, but it was the visitors who took the lead through Edin Dzeko in the 69th minute after some wonderful play from Yaya Toure.

Jose Mourinho started three midfielders- Alonso, Essien and Khedira but they lack the pivotal strength they need to break the City defense, he introduced Luka Modric, Karim Benzema and Mesut Ozil.

Marcelo equalized for the home team with a deflected shot in the 76th minute but Aleksandar Kolarov’s free kick restored the lead for Roberto Mancini‘s side in the 85th minute.

Karim Benzema’s fantastic finish in the 87th minute leveled the match, he has not scored a goal for both club and country since May,2012.

Christiano Ronaldo’s fizzing finish in the 90th minute made the Santiago Bernabéu erupt with cheers.

The portuguese gave the home side the maximum three points in a keenly contested Champions League encounter.
