PDP Lambast Buhari Over Comments on Party Performance
PDP Lambasts Gen Muhammadu Buhari over his derogatory comments on the achievements of the PDP since 1999.

Gen Buhari had taken a swipe at the PDP, who last week celebrated its 14 anniversary.

But in its reaction the ruling party asked General Buhari to show statesmanship in his assessment of the contributions of the PDP led Federal Government to the cause of democracy and good governance.
Gen. Buhari, at a recent public outing in Kano, deplored what he decribed as the abysmal performance of the ruling party, saying “Under normal circumstances, we are supposed to work strictly within the provisions of the constitution. But this is Nigeria and nothing is perfect and the only thing they have not tampered with between 1999 to date in Nigeria is the Holy Qur’an.”
But PDP National Publicity Secretary Chief Olisa Metuh in a statement, described Gen. Buhari’s comments as jaundiced and prejudicial.
Metuh cautioned Gen. Buhari against inciting the people against the PDP-led Federal Government, reminding the former Head of State that he presided over the darkest era in the nation’s history.
I believe in a Nigeria ruled by leaders with just one Vision and dream – “To sail the Ship of this Nation to clearer coast and avoid the Icebergs” Self righteousness and tackles wont help.
