News Corp. Split: Board Approves Breaking Company In Two
News Corp Board of Directors has approved splitting the Company into two separate companies.
One Section of the Company will man its newspaper business while the another will handle its entertainment operations.
The Journal, which is News Corp.’s flagship newspaper, cited a person familiar with the situation saying the board voted unanimously to approve the plan.
News Corp. spokeswoman Julie Henderson had no comment on the report as at the time of filing in this post.
Will the Split affect the company or will it make it stronger? Time will definately tell.
